Student camp in Chongqing Province, China – Dec 2009 / Jan 2010
I am delighted to inform you the Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban) is offering a fabulous opportunity for NZ students of Chinese to attend a 21 day long camp in China early in 2010. This is part of a programme designed to attract more New Zealand students to learn Chinese and to reward those who have been working hard in Chinese classes. This will be a unique opportunity for students to experience the Chinese culture and school life.
18 secondary school students and two teachers will spend 3-4 days in Beijing and the rest of the time in Chongqing, a province to the south of Beijing in January 2009. The group will depart from NZ on 26th December 2009 and return from Beijing on 16th January 2010 (arriving NZ 17th Jan). A special programme will be provided for students at a school in Chongqing Province. This will include study of the Chinese language and culture and some sightseeing during their stay in China.
